Regular Season Round 11: Krka - Partizan 92-99

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SerbianPartizan as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Partizan defeated 4th placed Slovenian Krka in Novo Mesto 99-92 . Partizan shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Duane Washington Jr (190-2000, college: Ohio St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 48 points (!!!). Greek-American point guard Nick Calathes (196-1989, college: Florida) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). responded with 19 points and power forward Lovro Urbiha (204-2003, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Krka players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Partizan have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Krka at the other side still keeps top place with eight games lost. They share the position with Ilirija and Derby.
